The Walt Whitman 200 Celebration will begin on Friday May 31st, 2019 at Union Grove Distillery in Arkville. On Saturday June 1st, 2019 at 1pm, we will have a guest speaker at Woodchuck Lodge. Professor Jim Warren, Burroughs Scholar, Washington & Lee College Professor and husband of our trustee Julianne Warren, will speak on the porch of Woodchuck Lodge 1pm. The Wild Saturday Program at Woodchuck Lodge began in May. The first Wild Saturday was on May 4th, 2019 at 1pm: a talk by nature writer Leslie T. Sharpe, author of The Quarry Fox and other Catskills critters. Details on our blog. Our next Wild Saturday will be on June 1st, 2019.
